How to Defrost Mango Puree?

It is simple to defrost mango puree. Simply place it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours, depending on the portion’s size. If you need it to be fully defrosted before you use it, you can freeze it overnight.

If you have made mango puree with an ice tray, these should take only 1-2 hours to freeze.

The mango puree should be consumed within 48 hours of being defrosted.

Recipe 1- Mango Ginger Sorbet Recipe


  • 2 large mango, pureed
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger (adrak)
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice

  1. Combine the sugar and ginger in a saucepan. Let it simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Let cool completely
  3. This syrup can be made by adding lemon juice and rind.

  • 1 tsp corn flour
  • 1/3 cup fresh cream

  1. For 10 minutes, soak the gelatine with 2-3 tablespoons of warm water.
  2. Combine the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl with 2-3 tablespoons of water. Place it over a double boiler. Whisk continuously to create a thick custard.
  3. The mixture is ready when it coats the back side of a spoon.
  4. Allow to cool, then fold in the mango puree.
  5. Mix the egg whites until they form soft peaks in a clean bowl.
  6. Fold the cream into the mango mixture.
  7. Add the whisked egg yolks to the bowl and gently fold it in.
  8. Use a large 5-star nozzle to pipe it into a tart or a chocolate shell.
